The play of this performance is Rajamala which tells the story
Rajamala was the adopted son of Resi Palasara, from the Retawu hermitage with Dewi Durgandini (Setyawati), the daughter of Prabu Basukesti, king of the Wirata country. He was created from the disease of Dewi Durgandini (Dewi Lara Amis) who was swallowed by a female fish. He occurred at the same time as another brother, named; Kencakarupa, Rupakenca, Setatama, Bimakenca and Dewi Ni Yutisnawati/Rekatawati.
Rajamala also had three other adopted brothers, namely: Begawan Abiyasa, son of Resi Palasara and Dewi Durgandini, Citragada and Wicitrawirya, both sons of Dewi Duragandini and Prabu Santanu, king of the Astina country.
Rajamala has a hard-hearted character, is brave, wants to always win on her own and always follows her heart. He is very powerful, he cannot die as long as he is exposed to water. According to the gods, there were only five warriors who could defeat and kill Rajamala, namely: Resi Bhishma, Adipati Karna, Kakrasana (young Baladewa), Duryudana and Bima (Werkudara).
Rajamala finally died in the battle against Bima (Werkudara), who at that time was living in disguise in the Virata country under the name Balawa (Jagalbilawa), as an act of Rajamala wanting to touch Salidri, the pseudonym of Dewi Drupadi.
